What data we collect
We only collect what's needed for the site to work: your account data (email and an encrypted password), content you create (votes, reviews, suggested places), and minimal technical data generated automatically — IP address, device type, and pages visited — for security and basic statistics.
Purpose
Why we use it
We use data to keep your account, display and weight community votes, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product. We don't build advertising profiles or make automated decisions that affect you.
Third parties
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your data. Our infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email) use it strictly to deliver the service, under contracts that require them to protect it. We may disclose it only if the law requires it.
Cookies
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and keep the site secure. For anonymous statistics we use minimal measurement, without cross-site tracking. You can block them in your browser, but some features may stop working.
Retention
How long we keep it
We keep data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove personal data within a reasonable time; public contributions (e.g. votes) may remain anonymized so community scores aren't distorted.
GDPR
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Write to us and we'll handle the request as quickly as we can. You also have the right to contact the supervisory authority (ANSPDCP).
