How we score
There's one goal: is this shawarma worth your money and the trip? We're not a pretentious guide — it's yours. Scores come from the community.
So far: 2470 places in 307 cities.
Yours, not ours
The Shaorma Score belongs to the community
A critic in an office doesn't give it — it's the average of your verdicts, on a scale of 5, shown with the number of reviews behind it. With few reviews, the score is pulled toward the city's average; recent reviews weigh more than old ones. Until at least 3 different accounts have rated it, a place shows as Unrated — still collecting votes, never a made-up number. In rankings, between close scores the place with more reviews behind it comes first.
You can also give a 👍 or 👎 to the menu products you ordered: each gets its own score. The place's score comes only from the review's verdict, so how many products you vote on doesn't change how much your vote counts.

What you rate
The first question is "How was it?", from Poor to Excellent — that answer is what the score comes from. Then you can tick what was good or not: each tick is a 👍 or 👎 on its category and shows in the per-category breakdown, but it doesn't move the score.

Shaorma Pass
Verified visits count more
At Shaorma Pass partner venues you scan a QR code at the counter (or pick up an order through the app), collect points and unlock rewards. If you rate a venue within 7 days of such a visit, your vote counts 3 times as much as one without a verified visit.

Anti-fraud
How we keep it honest
You need an account to vote. You can edit your vote for a venue for 7 days; after that, a new vote is added alongside the old one. A score appears only after reviews from at least 3 different accounts, and the team can delete votes that break the rules.
Transparency
Promoted places
Venues with an active subscription are marked “Promoted” wherever paying moves them up: in a dedicated space on city pages, on the home page and above rankings (only if they fit the ranking), and first in the map list or search results when you haven't picked another sort. Paying changes neither the Shaorma Score nor the place in numbered rankings: there, a promoted venue appears at the position its votes earned.
Freshness
Scores aren't set in stone
Scores move as you vote. Places change — new owner, new cook, a bad day — and lists and rankings show when each place was last updated. Places that pay are marked "Promoted" and still can't buy their score.

Our loyalty programme: at partner venues you scan a QR code, collect points on every visit and unlock rewards. A vote given within 7 days of a verified visit counts 3 times as much in the Shaorma Score.
Can I suggest my own venue?
Yes, please. Hidden gems, neighborhood legends, debatable but iconic spots — we want them all. Submit it via "Add a place" and, after review, it enters the rankings.
Why does place X have a low score?
The score reflects the community's real votes. If the wrap falls apart, the portion's small for the money, or there was a weak period, it shows in the score. Scores move as you vote.
